Hi, I am Sarah, a Lancashire Artist. All my work is inspired by the people, places and loves in my life.

Ethel & Sue are inspired by my lovely Mum and Narnie (Grand Mother) who bring light and laughter to the everyday humdrum. Both widowed, they seemed to form an unspoken pact to take on the world together, and they did.

The Jam Butty Adventures are all from memories of my childhood with my sisters, being free and slightly too optimistic/imaginative about our abilities, cue Torvil & Dean in roller boots, making our own house in the coal hole, cycling for miles with a jam butty picnic and wedding ceremonies in the back garden (complete with Mum’s net curtains).

And finally, the Love, this is inspired by my lovely husband and my 2 beautiful children. All these things have filled my life and art with LOVE, HOPE and HUMOUR.
